Rakesh Mishra is the vice president of marketing of Target in India. In this role, Rakesh leads a team that helps drive Target’s competitive advantage across various marketing domains. Target, a leading discount retailer with over $75 billion in sales, serves guests at more than 1,800 stores and on Target.com in the U.S.
With more than 24 years of advertising and marketing experience, Rakesh has had the opportunity to create and direct, award-winning marketing campaigns and has developed several new products. Prior to joining Target in 2008, he worked with organizations like Kohinoor Foods, Imageads & Communications and Continental Advertising.
Rakesh holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Sambalpur University and a master’s degree in marketing from the Center of Management Development.
